Grow your own edible pumpkin seeds in your home garden!
A unique pumpkin, the flesh of the Austrian hulless pumpkin (also known as Styrian hulless) is edible, though it’s primarily grown for its hulless seeds.
The flesh a little watery and not particularly flavorful, though it can be grated and used as a replacement for zuchinni in quiche or or zuchinni cake.
Edible pumpkin seeds are also know as Pepitas and can be dried and stored to then be eaten raw, toasted in a pan, or roasted with tamari for a delicious, nutritious snack.
